back home....yipeeeee

Life at home is like a dream....meeting my family after such a long time...was a moment beyond words...
and then mummy organised a Ramayan path at home and sitting with my family and reading was a pleasure there is always so much more to learn...every moment at home is better than the one before..my only thought is "am i dreaming?"

a joke i'll never forget

freshers' party is an event our batch will never forget ....well! cos with the number of mess ups we had that day ...it was quite an event...
at one point in the show we had nothing to put on stage, none of the people were ready and we had no idea what we were going to do? and i was one of the hosts or the comperes and was told by the other compere to go manage the stage for a while...and well! i had no idea what i was supposed to do...so i decided to share a joke with the audience...and when i finshed telling the joke the hall was quiet except for one guy who said "ha ha ha" ....I couldn't stop laughing at my situation...but its one joke i'll never ever forget...

my views

well! after a short disappearance i am back guess i had just run out of ideas...amazing right?
the ever talkative me not having anything to talk about well! happens every once in a while you should consider yourself lucky...
so what do i intend to talk about ...i read a few posts about swades on many blogs and also the debate about brain drain..well! after having debated about it for a while I have come to a conclusion where ever in the world you may be you should do your little bit...we can't change the world but we are each responsible for a little part of the universe which we can change, where we can make a difference...and i believe that is what matters. If u can put a smile on somebody's face,if you can spend time with a kid dicovering the world, if you can help an elderly person or just sit and share their thoughts....where you are doesn't matter...
so if you haven't made a difference already ...its never too late...

I am back...

So I am back...with alot of stuff to share...Buffalo is an amazing place.I reached the airport around 12.15 and the hotel around 1.30.And in no time i had figured out my plan for the day -and by 2.30 I was on the bus to niagra falls. But when i got off the bus i felt like i had made a big mistake...it was quiet and lonely and i was all alone and scared but well after all that effort i could not go back so i walked towards the falls...and the moment i had my first view of the falls i was left spellbound...so beautiful...i remembered that famous quote from Keats"a thing of beauty is a joy forever" so vibrant,so full of life and simply amazing...wish i could find the right adjectives but words cannot describe it....as i stood at the observatory i wondered how on one side of the observatory the water flowed so calm like it was running at its own leisurely pace and at the other was wild and so full of life....well! i wanted to stay there forever but i knew i had a long journey back to the hotel so i managed to get on the bus. After i got back to the hotel started adventure number two...it was tuesday and i had to find myself some vegetarian food ....after a long walk which got me no where i ended up ordering pizza....
the next morning had its own store of surprises -when i walked out of the hotel it was snowing...and that for me is a big joy...and after my interview i took a flight back to New York...
